Antique Brass Compass And Sun Dial

Antique brass compass and sun dial (i think). Comes ni a felt lined leather case that is iin reasonable shape, clasp is loose. Everything works fine, nothing broken or loose. This has lots of numbers, symbols and writing on it and i have no idea what it all means. Look at the photos adn if you need a close up of anything let me know.
